Curious, George: Monkey Madness at the Minneapolis Mefi Meetup? Lord help me, I'll probably attend. Any north-central United Statesian or south-central Canadian Mofites out there fancy a trek to Mpls? Or am I the only one who lives in this neck of the woods?

(west side of michigan, that is. crashing the meetup sounds like fun, but i'll be busy with end-of-semester grading then, and the door will probably be locked anyway.)

Yep the Purple One is supposedly a Grain Belt State native son. Meh, he's not as ridiculous as our former governor.

oops... looks like i just missed the mad city meetup. someone mentioned a milwaukee meetup later this spring. maybe i'd go. but could someone explain how/why such a meetup wouldn't be kinda... awkward?

Wedge, they would welcome a Mefi lurker at a meetup (see here for results from LA). And get in the photos, if possible. Imagine the publicity for us in the post-meetup MetaTalk thread!

Prince is a great great musician. That was Miles Davis' opinion, as well as being my own.
