A brewery in a Muslim country.

Note that Palestine wasn't always predominantly Muslim - it was a peaceful mix of Muslim, Christian and Jewish. The village where the beer is brewed is mainly Christian, and they are even making a halal beer.

Who knows, beer could even be the key to peace in the West Bank. Ironic...

It's interesting that the daughter is being primed to take over the business.

Turkey is a predominantly Muslim country, and they have beer brewing as well as sarap, wine. Here's a list of Turkish wine terminology

The wine is good. The beer is teh sucks. Worse than Coors/Hams/Bud Lite/Dixie

Thanks for a rare hopeful story from the Middle East.
Now if the region's various gods would just allow their adherents to sit down and have a friendly beer together...

Nicely put, islander.

Mideast beer summit!
