Man mails himself out of prison
Or you could just gain a few pounds.
The chief warden of the jail told the BBC this was an embarrassing incident.

I'm inspired. I'm gonna mail myself outta this sorry life and start fresh.
I think the chief warden just wanted to assure the BBC that he had a grasp of reality and that he was experiencing feelings of embarrassment and shame...unlike certain administrations I could think of.
Nah - she's killed the prisoner, stashed the body, cut the tarp and using it as an excuse for more funding (and more power/influence for herself).
Or is it just me who finds it deeply suspicious that they know _exactly_ how this guy escaped, without actually having, you know, found him?
