Turning The Tide. Noam Chomsky has a weblog.
  • OMG, feel so rough today, LOL!!!! saw darren last nite OMG darren is such a sPaZ. he dont think that gramma iz an inate faculty of teh humans, he has soooo read 2 much wittgenstein ROFL!! he is such a parsehole. i think i might hav a ch33s3 sandwich, lol, but i cannot stop thinking about the inequality of ch33s3 distribution. i wunder if ch33s3 iz inherently hEgeMoNIc in nature, OMG, maybe i shuld rite a book??LOL!!! #posted by cHomzkiROCKS! @ 10.19AM I am listening to: The rampant march of capitalism My Mood is: :^(
  • From the Noamblog: [Comments] will sometimes come from the ZNet sustainer forum system where Noam interacts through a forum of his own, sometimes from direct submissions, sometimes culled from mail and other outlets -- always from Noam Chomsky. So it's not like Noam is hunched over a computer keyboard late at night posting to the site and then checking his Blogshares rank (although that's a pretty entertaining image). That being said, this is still rad. Fantastic find. Flashboy, that was the greatest commentt I've yet seen on MoFi.
  • What the hell took Chomsky so long?
  • flash, u r00l.
  • The layout and that yellow just about had me turning my tide. The curry sabji in the sandwich I had for lunch today was pretty much that same color yellow. Isn't chomsky a spice used primarily in chicken dishes in southwest Indonesia?
  • i've spoken with chomsky a few times, fairly recently, for a story i was doing on the war. he's extraordinarily accessible, handles his own email, answered my query right away. off the record, he said he has to be cautious about what he says and how he says it because he realizes how many people pay such close attention to his ideas. perhaps that's why this has taken so long.
  • bananas for dng and flash. mexican : would you eat a bowl of Chicken Chomsky?
  • and does anyone else automatically replace "weblog" with "posse"?
  • I replace 'weblog' with 'soapbox'...
  • I meant to include this link in my last post...
  • Obey Chomsky. Heh. That's one sticky meme.
  • I would pay a small amount of money to see flashboy continue his work in lj. WHO'S WITH ME?!
  • Flasboy should maybe try proposing it as a new (reality?) TV show.
  • Lord, I'm bored. Not sure about ht/ wt for him -- any ideas?
  • As long as he updates more often than Kim Jong Il, I'm in. Think of it, flash... you could become a hundredaire. Maybe even a thousandaire. Boo: 5'8", 143 lb Or, hell, go 7'4", 520 lb and give him Andre's shoulders
  • Whaddya mean, Gnome Chompsky has been blogging for years...
  • flashboy, that was classic. Much more entertaining than the "real thing" (or that which is so called by the capitalist/militarist class, with their hegemonic imposition of consensus!).
  • I'm really hoping Chomsky reads all the comments.
  • The comments have been removed now seemingly.
  • From the comments: I have been a huge fan of Prof Chomsky's for a very long time. He is one the most caring and loving of the TRUE progressive people on our planet, our Earth mother. We are all her children and Noam is a especially caring one that knows to love all people. Macho warmonger fools beating their chests come to ruin a progressive environment for people with hearts to discuss important issues, most of you are full of hate and have testosterone poison. • Me, I just want to see what Noam has on his Amazon wishlist. By the way, I'd like to place it on record that I will do anything for money. Anything. Really. (God, though, it was hard enough racking my brains for what little vague remembrances I had of Chomskyan philosophy... desperately trying to recall what was in that Steven Pinker book and a few old Philosophy of Science lectures... that coupled with the gradual degenerating effect on the brain of riting lik, OMG, a t33n4g3 LiV3JurNaL uzer... I'm not sure I could cope...)
  • We'll dirve you to a complete breakdown if thats what it takes, flashboy...
  • Or drive you, maybe Actually, dirve sounds better. Damn (lack of) preview...
  • Ahem. I can't be sure how often he'll update it, though.
  • flashboy : you are my hero.
  • Splendid! Splendid! *applauds*
  • Jesus, flash, you must have your friends peeing their pants on a regular basis from laughing so damn hard! I am so envious of your brilliant wit. Thank God your a Monkey.
