"Terrorist" Watch List Hits One Million Names. The ACLU have set up form where victims of the watch list can report their experiences.

Previously on the Blue.

...and, without any fuss, civil rights started to go out.

I especially liked this item:

Photobucket

I especially love it when they detain anybody under 10 years old.

I think a terrorist watch list is an excellent tool to try to prevent terrorism. So many of the terrorist actions (New York, Madrid, London, etc.) have relied on the precise synchronization of their watches. It may be a small step, but making a list up of the watches they like to wear and seizing those watches may prevent the next 9-11.

Indeed.

Eh, now they're watching ***you*** 'nockle.

(1) Put a million people on a LIST
(2) Interfere with their lives and generally irritate them
(3) WATCH as a small minority go nuts
(4) Wait for them to become TERRORISTS
(5) Go to Congress and cite the fact they were on your list
(6) Profit!!! through additional Federal funding

Home to Roost

The chickens
are circling and
blotting out the
day. The sun is
bright, but the
chickens are in
the way. Yes,
the sky is dark
with chickens,
dense with them.
They turn and
then they turn
again. These
are the chickens
you let loose
one at a time
and small—
various breeds.
Now they have
come home
to roost—all
the same kind
at the same speed.

Just a little something from your subversive Poet Laureate
Damn, but that poem fits our society.

Spend 13 serving your country in the military, exercise your Consitutionally guaranteed right to freedom of religion, and face losing your career...

America, Land of the .... what?

How does that song go? Oh, yeah.
Freedom's just another word.
