I hope a female can be located soon, sounds like he deserves to have some fun after all that travel hassle. I'd like to think back in Costa Rica other beetles coaxed him into that fruit shipment, saying, "c'mon, man, things here are getting tough, maybe you can find somewhere new for us to live? Remember to write and let us know!"

Now they found a mate. They will breed. Their spawn will be a new mutated race of INDESTRUCTIBLE, PESTICIDE-RESISTANT, huge beetles. And so, Europe's fate is sealed. I find it cute, anyway.
