Human Descent: Witness the 26 galleries.

Oh Jesus, that is creepy. Good photoshopping (or whatever) though.

Wow!

Beings from our wildest dreams.

i find it interesting to watch how the photoshopper's skills increase from the early galleries to the later ones. there are a few early on that have obvious clipping lines; some of the later ones are so subtle that they don't even look weird for a second.

also a bigger fan of the combined animals than the "alien baby"-type ones. and the "half animal" ones are just funny - didja see the two-legged beagle? some of the animals look so cute, i would love to have one at home.

*goes to basement lab and starts splicing critter DNA*

yeah, those baby ones creep me the hell out.

my favorites are the bird-morphed ones. especially the ones that look like nothing more than mouths on wings.

After a while, tho', it's the same joke over & over.

I bet you that more women than men are creeped out by the alien-baby ones, cos a common dream that women have, especially expectant mothers, is that their baby is some kind of animal or a mutant. You can understand why, obviously. .. because these women are UGLY.

Ha ha ha

just kiddin'

Bosch would be proud. All the maminals look like they would do quite well in his triptychs…

Reminds me of Dr. Moreau.

Also, if your looking for excellent photoshopping skills take a look at entries at Worth1000.

Ahhh... anyone else finds that MonaLisa-like half-feline-half human girl just... gorgeous...?

naxosaxur: two excellent links - thank you!

Oh great, some of those pictures will likely give me nightmares. Fabulous.

Great link, naxosaxur.

My favorite.

Oh man. The bird ones freaked me out. Especially with those wide, gaping mouths with teeth...*shudder*

But I liked the quadraped ones. Very nice!
