Photoshop disasters My favourite is the mutant hand, well suited to the MoFi bodice ripper.
  • I could do so much better than any of these hacks, why aren't I employed? Oh yeah, it's because I'm a psycho.
  • You could still be President. Yeah Guinevere's third hand is a real winner alright. I thought I sucked but it looks like these people didn't even proof their sloppy work even for one second. On the other hand, I think Anne Coulter may actually look like that.
  • Oooh. The times I've been given some pics that client or boss got just like that from the net (and to boot, usually a compressed-to-hell, miniature file) and asked to 'collage' them into a masterpiece. And after refusing due to possible liability or technical impossibility, being shown 'But (big-shot ad agency) did this!' example of flagrant iamge rights breach, shoddy hack job, blatant concept plagiarism and, usually, all of the above. Ah, good times. Yeah, photoshop can be dangerous in the wrong hands.
  • I especially love the one with the istockphoto watermark, because it's true. If I had a dime for every time my former boss sent me a watermarked low-res image with intructions to use it in a commercial print job... My officemate, who runs a program for highschoolers, recently edited new feet onto the picture of a girl attending a recent conference, because she didn;t want other kids getting the idea that t was OK to attend in inappropriate footwear. She ended up looking like her feet were in little black lunch bags.
  • My theory is that the mutant hand belongs to a dwarf who ws creeping up on Guinevere from behind and inadvertently got involved in the embrace. That kind of thing was always going on in the Olden Days.
  • Ah, yes, Sir Grabsalot.
  • CLONE TOOL CLONE TOOL CLONE TOOL
  • Ahem.
  • Dude, shut up..! Neddy just got back here -- do you want to scare her off already?
  • No! *hangs head in shame*
  • I recently did a photoshop job for a client, of a pic in which she was standing behind a sign, with a variegated background. A friend look at the work in progress and said "don't forget the feet!" to which I responded "what feet?" I hadnt even noticed her shoes sticking out beneath the sign. It would have been a classic...
  • sorry I forgot to say that I was REMOVING said client from pic...it was difficult but I did a decent job compared to the hacks in this FPP.
  • eep, sorry, kamus! *goes to put on her glasses*
  • The mutant medieval hand picture appears to be a painting - I think it was really just painted that way. If true, this means that someone spend a great deal of time and effort to put in three hands.
