You'd be surprised at how many situations that phrase can apply to.

If you dig, check out the artist Marion Peck as well (easier to google it)-- she is Mark's doppelganger; as such she isn't as subtle (if anything Ryden does can be called that) but she still marches to a very similar drummer.
Some speculate that Peck+Rydell=same artist. Not so sure myself...
