why America is safer (for propoganda) At some point in 2003, this site went from the official site of U.S. House Majority Leader Armey to a cog in the american propaganda machine. How long until the title changes to 'victory in Iran/Syria/Venezuela/Jamaica'?

This is my favourite headline ever:

Rumsfeld: In the end, Saddam 'not terribly brave'

Sandmonk, you should email the link to that site to this guy. He would eat it up.

The interesting thing is, despite all its philtrophic talk about making the world a safer place and all that, the first title on the page is "WHY AMERICA IS SAFER".

No "WHY IRAQ IS SAFER"?

Oh, wait.

It isn't.

looking at the old site, i think that it's likely that the site has always been a "cog in the propaganda machine."

what's different is the that the website author isn't making any effort to disguise it anymore.

Bush said he wanted to "export" death and stuff to wherever terrorists live... Unfortunately, we've been doing that for a hundred years or more, and have found that the blowback is a bitch. Nobody is safer when violence is treated as a commodity, even if only served to others.
