i wouldn't mind using helvetica. honestly. i know arial is a bastard derivation. but you try finding helvetica for free on a windows platform. it just doesn't seem to come with it. and i can't for the life of me find anyone giving the default typeface away. so i use arial. there, i said it.

i did find some very nice apple fonts somewhere; i use them occasionally. couple of garamonds, and at least one lucida. i do like fonts, but i'm not a font snob (although given some training i quite possibly could be... MS Comic Sans makes me want to kill).

the "behind the music" parody made me giggle. the "commercial" was a nice touch.

Everyone knows the best font to use in most situations is giant red Comic Sans.

Hopefully flashing.

With little sparkly bits.

I've occassionally written sites that have the space invaders font (Example here, in picture form) as the preference for certain sections of text. This makes the site entirely unreadable for the 1 in 1,000,000 odd people who actually have this font, but no one else is aware of the problem. It amuses me, in a sad way. (I am a small and petty man)
