Ernie Chambers is Suing God
The Nebraska Senator is looking for a permanent injunction against God and his followers for making terroristic threats.
God did not immediately respond to a non-denominational prayer for comment by [the] reporter.
Wasn't Andy Partridge singing at him punishment enough?
He might win - surely all the really good lawyers are in hell.
This God told me I was going to inherit the Earth, but 2000 years later I'm still waiting, and his number goes to voicemail.
You know I'm usually embarrassed by my state of residence. But in this case, I'm ecstatic: I'm not living in the state who is paying this bozo's salary with my tax dollars.
What a colossal waste of time. IF it survives summary judgment? That's like saying IF pigs come flying out of my ass, two by two, in a marching band.
Well, surely it didn't take him very much time. I'm sure I waste as much time in a day as it took him to prepare the papers.
I think it would be more appropriate as a class action suit...where do I sign up?
