Soy sauce for ice cream - from the Japanesians. Also, the often blogged interesting Japanese ice cream flavours.

MoFi has noted the Japanese ice cream flavo(u)rs before, but the link is now kaput, so ... ( ´∀`)

Hmmm not seen or heard of this.... and I consider myself to be a connoisseur of ice cream toppings...

Mmm, sounds good. I love the combination of sweet and salty.

Sounds good to me. I've been putting nori powder on my vanilla ice cream since I was a small kid. Salty-sweet combo is hard to beat!

I had assumed that it wasn't salty.
