  • Well, Nick, I can't say it's an inspiring post, but at least it's not as dumb as the last one.
  • Well, that's pretty rude.
  • Obviously this post is just silly and I put it up because I thought it was an interesting oddity, so I can't say I feel particularly defensive about it. But the wikipedia one? That's a real issue that concerns our notions about the perception of "fact" on the internet. I'm sorry you thought it was dumb, and I'm bit surprised, but I guess you're entitled to your opinion. But, come on, do you really need to bring it up in another post?

Except your last post was posted after this post, so this wasn't your last post when I posted, it was the post after you posted this one, and then I posted here, and then I posted there, and... Please accept my humble apology for the rude and socially unacceptable post, as well as for the ensuing confusion arising from said post. Your Wikipedia post was interesting. I had no idea that it was being altered for commercial gain, which basically defeats the purpose of dissemination of factual information, since advertising is based on lies, lies by omission, smoke, handwaving, and general hype. I even posted a semi-thoughtful comment there. Well, ok, it was under the smartassery, but still...   • Whoa. I completely and utterly misinterpreted what you said. I'm really sorry. Believe me, I have no intention of making you grovel unnecessarily. I accept your humble apology, except, of course, that no apology is necessary since I made the mistake. So. Sorry. And thanks for the cookies. And I'll try to stop being so ubersensitive. I'm blaming the weather. Or hormones. Oh crap, I just take it all back.   • Speaking of old, awful posts, what about Nickdanger's 84th post? It not only sucked mondo amounts of mongoose ass, but it also retroactively made about one third of his previous posts that much suckier. It is difficult for me now to even look at a post by Nickdanger without the image of a thousand freshly enemized mongooses doing calisthenics popping into my head.
