Satan's Taxicab San Francisco Taxi Medallion Number 666 has been causing problems for its owner. However his request to have his medallion number changed has been denied.
I love that the taxicab actually caught fire on Good Friday.
But the real number of the beast is 616, so clearly the poor fellow just suffers run of the mill bad luck.
If I were a cabbie, I would jump all over that opportunity! I would start with some red faux fur interior customization, some nice shiny chrome devil horns on the hood, flame detailing across the sides... HELL yeah! I would print up biz cards and attempt to secure a cell phone number with a corresponding number. I would also be sure to have a night shift, going after the bar hoppers and club goers.
I would hail the hell cab in a heartbeat.
Damn right Sugarmilktea. Where's the entrepreneurial spirit? Maybe San' Fran' people are starting to take themselves a lee-tle too seriously. Used to be a fun kinda town.
But wait! Are we missing the "all publicity is good publicity" angle? Might be just the thing to change the poor tar-basher's income from the down to an up.
smt, I imagine that he would be phenomenally successful in san fran if he followed your plan. people would fight for the chance to be his passenger!
Not to mention the prospect of other traffic getting out of your way, hence a quicker ride for passengers: Oh hell, here comes the devil cab, get outta the waaaaaay!
Other marketing ideas, perhaps:
Wanna break up with your significant other? Send the 666 cab to pick 'em up and take 'em away!
Special Flat fare of $6.66 for passengers who get the Devil Cab on the sixth minute of every hour!
Maybe he's a really religious guy, though. They should have let him change numbers.
or he could convert to satanism.
I think there should be a whole fleet of them. "Lil' Devil's Finest Taxi Service".
If the devil drives a taxi and you tell him to go to hell, does he turn the meter on?
The meter is always on.
You be da wizard, SMT!
I would sohellhail that cab.
If the devil drives a taxi and you tell him to go to hell, does he turn the meter on?

For a hella fast trip, dial 666-7734
Remember on a calculator, if you turned the thing upside down, 7734 would spell hell? Sister Mary Torture took my calculator away in 7th grade because I did that. I had to multiply using my brain*!
