Hot Beeyotches on Canvas.
  • That was fucking amazing. What a way to start my day. Thank you moko jono!
  • Such a great post could have been given a less misogynistic title.
  • Mesmerising.
  • Absolutely entrancing. They were probably easier to blend 'cause they all fit that Golden Ratio thingamajigger.
  • What was most intriguing to me was the "in-between" parts, when it was a blend of two paintings, especially when the face turned. There was a glimpse of three dimensionality as well as a totally new beautiful woman created from the blending of the two pictures. Thanks for the cool post.
  • Unless I blinked... where's the pearl earring woman?
  • See also.
  • interesting--cool post Some of them I knew the painter immediately--some I thought I knew--some were familiar, but couldn't place, and some were just plain unfamiliar, but I'd probably slap my forehead if I saw the whole painting. It got downright scary toward the end there.
  • That was wonderful!!1! The beeyotches line made me afraid to click until now though.
  • Yes, very nice Moko -- Thanks.
  • I agree with BlueHorse; the end is great. I'm kind of surprised I didn't see Frieda in there anywhere.
  • I love the ladies, but does anyone know of something similar of us hansome male types?
  • Can I call you a cab?
  • I was kinda surprised that I only recognized one piece done by a woman artist (Elisabeth Vigee-Lebrun's self-portrait). If you click on the link that shows the artists/titles, you'll see that Mary Cassatt is represented as well. Only two women artists, though? A little disappointing in that respect, but still, this thing just blows me away!! And I agree...I wanna see one of these done with pictures of the menfolk.
  • p.s. Sorry about that 'beeyotches' thing. Dinnae mean any disrespect.
  • No disrespect inferred here, I was just wary of ottoman trouble.
  • >
  • Flagpole: I didn't see the pearl necklace woman either.
  • No disrespect inferred here, I was just wary of ottoman trouble. OMG...I JUST got that!! (And all this time I thought you were making some kind of obscure Ottoman Empire reference that I was too ill-educated to understand.)
  • Sort of seems like the faces are alive, and trying to break out of the canvas. Really cool!
