WF-4: The Anthropomorphic Flutist Robot With video.
A few more like this guy and Toyota's trumpet-playing robot and junior high school bands around the globe can be mechanized.
For me, it's the flutist's (flautist's?) hat that really lifts this above the level of your average anthropomorphic orchestral robot into something really special...
That's pretty cool, but the sound of it taking a breath creeps me out. Reminds me of a typewriter.
we sure live in fascinating times, don't we?
