Wow, this is memory lane day- the abstinence thread is taking me back to high school, and this takes me back even further. I found myself wondering the other day if I'm subconsciously predisposed to find Morgan Freeman's voice reassuring because of the "Easy Reader" association...

I remember a couple of years ago Noggin (a cable network available on DirecTV) was putting on full Electric Company episodes at 1-2 am. Same with old-school Sesame Street. None of that Elmo crap!

Heh, I never got the "Easy Reader" name as a kid, or the "Fargo North, Decoder" character. Mostly I remember Spiderman, Letterman, and the silhouettes that paired up to say words. I couldn't believe Morgan Freeman was on it, but now I totally remember him as a Dracula-type character.
