The 2004 World Clown Association Convention , "Up, Up & Away", opened today in Albuquerque. It's got a terrific schedule schedule (PDF), so if you're in the area why not go along?
These are troubled times for clowns - as Bruce "Charlie" Johnson says, "Clowns do not exist in a vaccuum" - and clowns have to come to terms with the fact that the world today is a hostile place. Many turn to religion.
On the off-chance that any of you are not clowns, why not find a clown?
Truly, the schedule schedule is magnificent.
You can lead monkey to preview, but you can't make him spot the bloody obvious.
I just came home from work and saw this convention was in town. It sent a chill up my spine. **shudder**
I hope there's a special place in hell reserved for clowns, mimes, and magicians.
Just kidding. Sort of.

Speaking of clowns, has anyone else heard about the Homey the Clown movie?
Seltzer is for drinking, not for spraying. Pie is for noshing, not for throwing.
"clowns do not exist in a vacuum."
and, of course, nature ahbors a vacuum, thus, nature abhors clowns.
or something like that.
The Day The Clown Cried
But the schedule schedule schedule, she is deeply flawed.
"clowns do not exist in a vacuum."
very few of us can.

The clownsweater!
Thanks, Mister Pants!
Unfortunately, we've missed this year's Convention, so you'll just have to be satisfied with a kiss and a bedtime story.
