9. Who makes your parts?
i often wonder this about people i meet.
mondo cool-o site!
I like that the "Debutante" and "Princess" models are easily the ugliest and most utilitarian looking sets they offer.
I couldn't find any prices listed, I guess we have to call them up if we actually want one of these.
Nickdanger--
I e-mailed them yesterday with a request for prices but I'm still waiting.
This just in:
Debutante: $1100
Princess: $1399 w/ 18' screen
Princess: $1699 w/ 24" screen
Holiday: $1999
Chalet: $2099
Pedestal: $2299
Danish Modern/Continental: $2299
Corona: $2699
Maiele-Tiki: $3299
Meteor: $3299
Shipping: add $150-$300...
in that case, i'll take one of each.
I think their idea of high end is my idea of end of the galaxy, and then some.
Guh.
I can easily see this being a prop on a TV show or movie set. I can appreciate that it's a piece of retro art that can be used like any other TV.
But actually owning a $3K TV no bigger than 24"? Uh, no.
Say, has anyone considered if Santa has university or post-grad education. For some reason, I first read this as Dear Doctor Santa.
Maybe it's just me and the whole thread marathon.
