  • Ralph, from IE it should launch Windows Media Player. I'm not sure if there are other players that will interpret asf format. I'm getting a 750 kbps feed, apparently. And holy crap this place is noisier than my local.
  • I use IE... I haven't trouble with that link, but I've had trouble with IE playing stuff in the past; there may be a setting somewhere.... I saw a family of dog-like things yesterday- momma, daddy and baby.
  • Wow. It's night now and they have a night vision cam. I don't see anything, but it's so LOUD. and something invisible is sniffing near the camera.

  • Woohoo! This thing is neat! Just saw a herd of (well, 5 or 6) zebras. And here come a couple more giraffes. Also, somebody is controlling the camera, panning around and zooming in and out. Thanks, Doohickie!

  • Interesting. Caught a glimpse of several different animals, but they are all either camera shy or worried about being eaten, because they comes, and then they goes.

  • For those who may have uncooperative browsers, here's the work-around: Open Windows Media Player, right click on the top bar, select file, URL, and paste in "http://live.wildlife.wavelit.net/451OK?MSWMExt=.asf" Watch critters.

  • Who or what is controlling the camera? It seems to randomly pan and zoom on nothing. But the sounds are lovely. It reminds me of my old home in the woods. I never realize how I miss the sounds of so many birds until I go back there. I may just leave this on to sleep to. Birds are all wrong, but it sounds like home. Nice find!

  • Well, I finally saw something more than hyena/jackal thingies: Just before dusk I saw a herd of wildebeast, an antelope and an elephant. So, yeah, it's kinda cool (I posted this with the hope it was but without really knowing!)
