OMENTUM URL is to page on Oprah's site which is devoted to the show wherein Dr. Oz says there's an organ inside all of us that plays a key role in making us fat—the omentum. "This organ literally pumps chemicals into your body and it holds the secrets … to los[ing] weight."

This medical dictionary doesn't think so.
Although I suspect the omentum doesn't cause obesity as much as the mouth does.

That' guy is making crap up to get on Okrah again. Seriously. That's the kind of thinking that doctors were doing, what, back in the 1400s or something?
Never heard of the omentum before but according to wiki, there's a greater omentum and a lower omentum. How about that? Also looking at gross pictures of the omentum sure is a good motivator for losing weight.
