... Just Us, We Caught The Bus: "None suspect that idealistic committed little folk-singer Bob Dylan is in fact the amazing Zimmerman -- faster than a proxy ballot, more powerful than an ulterior motive, and able to buy tall buildings with a single bond!" [More inside]

Written by Tony Hendra and Sean Kelly and drawn by Neal Adams, The Ventures of Zimmerman appeared in the October 1972 issue of National Lampoon. Part indictment of selling out, part collection of offensive Jewish/Zionist stereotypes, it was followed up a few years later by Son O' God Meets Zimmerman, whose cliffhanger ending was never resolved(Mercifully, unsurprisingly, or both, you be the judge.). From The Comic Book and Me, a collection of Dylan-related comics and parodies.

  • Layne put far too much effort into this post for no comments to appear. Not even a snark? C'mon, guys, up and at'em!
  • well, i was going to say that this was as incomprehensible as Dylan's singing, but i didn't want to be first post. and i didn't put a lot of effort into deciphering it...
  • I'm a bit uncomfortable with the whole Jew-boy-doing-it-for-the money thing.
