Roger McGuinn is still at it.
He has continued to upload an acoustic folk song to the Folk Den every month since November, 1995, which gives me a chance to update one of my favorite (of my own) MetaFilter posts. Happy Holidays!
I think, if we all banded together, we could make him cut it out.
So how long does it take before every song sounds the same, anyway?
And why did he change his name from Jim to Roger?
Questions aside, this is cool.
Mmmmmmmm, limited edition Ricky.
*drools*
tracicle, I used to think every bluegrass song sounded the same. I still believe that, but I now understand that bluegrass fans just really like that song.
For the leaves they will wither
And the roots will decay
And a false hearted lover
Will soon fade away
-On Top Of Old Smokey
But not Roger. He's still at it.
Bwah ha ha ha ha. Bwah ha. Bwah ha.
Yeah, the mania phase will take you through the next five threads, TOP.
