John Edward has been required under the (Oz) Fair Trading Act to prove he talks with the dead or admit his show is a scam.
The fellow bringing the claim is another who bothers the dead, but who styles himself "entirely without psychic powers".
He already admits it. People just don't pay attention.
I think making refunds available to those who believe they were misled by the show's promotion would be something of a new development.
This guy makes me positively ILL. Another reason I don't watch daytime television, he's on every damn day. I don't agree with refunding money, however. It's all about entertainment. If people choose to believe he is really talking to the dead, that's their problem.
This show bothers me because it's base exploitation. Pimping out peoples memories of loved ones for advertising revenue. That's one sick dude..
Anyone seen the John Edward episode of South Park? He gets completely taken down by Stan and then wins the Biggest Douche in the Universe contest.
