Roman Glass Gaming Die Circa 2nd Century A.D.: "Modern scholarship has not yet established the game for which these dice were used."
"Modern scholarship" has obviously never played D&D.
Supposed they must have used it for training before going out and doing the real thing. Everyone knows the Roman Empire eventually fell to the Mon's Goblin Raiders right?
Jeez, what did the 2nd century Romans roleplay? Neanderthals?? "My australopithicus takes out his rudimentary stone hammer and bashes the mammoth.... 16! That's a hit!"
[ head explodes ]
(correction: it should read "... XVI! That's a hit!" My apologies)
"Any dungeon master worth his weight in geldings goes nowhere without his...20-sided die!"
Now all we need is a modified, homemade Skylab tracking device...
Wow PvP. Talk about you know you're a geek when ...
... I love you guys.
AD&D Edition IV, now with Hoplite class!
Say it loud: I'm Geek and Proud!
