The song was somehow like dadadada-dadadada. Got it?? Tap a song with the spacebar and this website will figure out which song it was. It worked well with "Jingle Bell's", "Yesterday" and "A Hard Day's Night".
  • One thing this website figured out: my tapping sucks.
  • mine bell's is ringing. mine bell's is' going off's.
  • I shor am likin on this heer cheez
  • Pfff! It couldn't tell what Din Daa Daa was -- the theme from Super Mario Brothers?? Gimme a break! Worthless junk machine!
  • Here is the list of songs it thinks "The Blue Danube" is: Take Me Home Tonight Spongebob Squarepants Mr Brightside Owner Of A Lonely Heart Wicked Game Addams Family When You Wish Upon A Star White Christmas Just (Radiohead) Killing Me Softly
  • I think maybe it would help if you chose a song that was very popular and mainstream. It probably has not learned millions of songs.
  • First hit for La Bamba - "This is how you remind me" by Nickelback. Wow, thanks songtapper, not only for getting it completely wrong, but also reminding me of the hellish downfall of contemporary music. I wait with bated breath for the masterstroke. I tried Blue Danube too, Monster, and I got it on the first hit. Are you holding your staccatos too long?
  • OK, I gave it "Tiptoe Through the Tulips" by Tiny Tim. It woz a bit foggy, returning this list: Fozey Lady Jimi Hendrix Alec Eiffel The Pixies Hey Jude The Beatles William Tell Overture Where The Streets Have No Name u2 It's a Long Way To Tiperary[sic] /bee-witched, bee-fuddled
  • I found this site a while back, and actually decided not to post it because it was so...befuddling.
  • Fozey Lady Jimi Hendrix Surely that's Fozzy Lady? Wokka Wokka Wokka!
  • Tried it again with shorter staccato, and got the same list. My piano teacher is hanging her head in shame somewhere. Could be my crappy keyboard, though. I have to bang on a, w, i, and k twice as hard as all the others. "The Blue Danube" not as well known as "Jingle Bells?" I think not! It's the old "Friskies Buffet" jingle!
  • I think it is a noble idea. Can't imagine how they entered the original data. I tried "You're So Vain" and they nailed it, top selection. It is kind of hard to believe, tho, that there are six or eight other songs with the exact same rhythm.
  • It's sort of like the "Guess The Dictator/Sitcom Character" thing to me. It mostly relies on feedback from people trying it rather than any real smarts. I remember seeing the dictator/sitcom site back in the "early days" and it was easily defeated, but now it gets even the most obscure sitcom characters almost every single time. For now, it had no idea about "Around The World In 80 Days" and guessed it was "Candle In The Wind". Check back in five years.
  • tick, Fozey's how they spelled it. Apparently spelling is not a strong point. (But I should talk!) /last sentence: sarcasm
  • *dies laughing in response to Fish Tick*
  • It got "Happy Birthday!" My piano teacher can show herself in public again! I'ma little concerned about the #2 and #3 songs, though... "Clitty Pie" by Hairy Clams? "Touch My Todger" by Smegsmear? Sounds like them dirty camp songs you sing after the counselors have gone to bed.
  • flower tower song tiptoe to the tulips little eiffel foxy lady farewell leiscester square tiptoe to the window don't carry the world my heart's right there they called it a phallic and when I go there he was panoramic with you it's all burning down love we'll keep the showers away a little colder there i go there making the world tiptoe from your pillow we're still building to the shadow of a willow i see you hah on down tree burning down love in the moonlight in the garden on the scene foxy lady it's a fool who plays it cool burning down love will you pardon me? sometimes people can be oh so dense and any time you feel the pain you make me wanna get up and scream foxy come tiptoe through the tulips's pain knee deep in flowers hey jude refrain in flowers we'll stray upon your shoulders you've got to be all mine all mine [every last word o' this belongs to some other song!]

The Results: All My Loving The Beatles Wonderwall Here There And Everywhere The Beatles Do Wha-Diddy Diddy Manfred Mann Yesterday Gainsville Rock City Less Than Jake Aiden Mcanespie To Sir With Love Lulu I Will Come To You Hanson Still Ill The Smiths So, Hoagy Carmichael was confused with Hanson. That's just sad. Really, really sad. But still -- not bad, considering all this guy has is Tappa Tappa Tappa! Until it works, though, the site is ever-so crappy.
  • SOS SOS HIT ICEBERG SEND HELP SOS SOS
  • haha! David Sarnoff, you television technology stealing bastard!
  • After having it guess Police songs for two different songs that were assuredly NOT Police songs, I tapped out "King of Pain." It was the first on the list. Someone has been very busy making sure Sting gets his.
  • bees, I think that was the fever dream I had last night. But it totally makes sense in the light of day.
  • I tried the Batman theme, and it gave me the "Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" I didn't bother to try again.
  • Well, after feeding it most of Orinoco Flow, it returned this: Vertigo U2 Doctor Worm They Might Be Giants Dont Cha Pussycat Dolls Turkish March Mozart Chop Suey System Of A Down Michelle Beatles Master Of Puppets Metallica Phantom Of The Opera Dalai Lama Rammstein American Idiot Green Day I didn't know that Orinoco Flow and American Idiot sounded the same.... Maybe I'll try the reverse?
  • Well, after tapping in American Idiot, it returned a baffling array of possibilties, ranging from Beethoven to... Mozart? WTF^^? Pour Elise Beethoven Turkish March Mozart Hello Lionel Richie Stayin' Alive Gibb Mary Had A Little Lamb The Llama Song ?? Faster Manic Street Preachers Of The Father's Love Begotten Praetorius Come As You Are Nirvana Last Train To Clarksville Monkees
  • maybe you tapped it in wrong.
  • I think "Lust for Life" by Iggy Pop might be the easiest song in the world to confuse with every other swing song (and a myriad million that were inspired likewise).
  • My seeing-eye toucan can't type songs for shit.
  • What the heck is "Pour Elise"? Some sort of drink?
  • Purr Elise is a grey tabby. With fleas. She lives next to The Werzog but I don't expect to.
  • No fleas on bees!
  • One of the guys who wrote this program was recently featured for this "acheivement" on the front web page for my uni as an alum. I really don't know what that says about my school, but it doesn't bode well...
  • You got a well-funded Department of Songtapping?
