Dr. Seuss Will Get His Own Postage Stamp despite the lameness of "Cat in the Hat: The Movie"...
  • His books are my favorite. My two girls have both outgrown them (mostly) but I could at least read them over and over (and over) to my daughters without growing too sick of them.
  • Seems quite appropriate. I know his books are credited with teaching many children to read. I actually had quite a few of them myself. "Oh the places you will go" has also become the cliche grad gift now, but is still an awesome book.

  • Hi genial, and welcome back. :) I'm just getting back into Dr. Seuss now (my one-year-old is obsessed with books) and only have a couple, but I remember my own collection well and hopefully can dig them out of my parents' garage. I have to say, I always hated "Hooper Humperdink? Not Him!" It was too exclusionist, I suppose.
