Strindberg and Helium

I enjoyed Helium's exclamations, like "Bleading!" and "Poison!" (Sometimes, when my friends are telling me various problems in their lives, acting like Helium seems like about the best I can do. "[Insert malady here]!")

When this was posted on MetaFilter a long time ago, it was compared to a Monty Python meets Edward Gorey sort of cartoon, which resonated with alot of people. It's an odd cartoon.

i'm a recent fan of this cartoon. does anyone know how often it is updated?

Thanks Dr. Z! Loved it! (And I've always wanted to try absinthe-- I read maybe two years ago or so that is IS possible to purchase the product because the new formulation is so dilute.)
Anybody have info?

Well, you could probably start here.

I don't think it is updated very often, zoarre. I'm sure at least two of these (episodes 1 and 4) were here back in September 2002, and the other 2 seemed familiar too, so it's possible it hasn't been updated *at all* since 2002. All the copyrights on the page are 2000 through 2002; nothing more recent.

I got my first absinthe buzz last year, but I pussed out after three shots and several beers (work in the morning). It helped me clean up at poker and gave me the queasies and close to doublevision, but I regret not taking more to make to see where I coulda gone.

"ooh, hot tonight... strindberg's hot tonight..."

This is so amazingly cool. I'm a huge strindberg fan. Ghost Sonnata was breathtaking. But somehow that makes this all the funnier. I sort of wish I was Helium.

I wonder if those are actual Strindberg texts. I don't recognise them if they are, but if they were that would be too awesome for words.
