BANG! Banned Xbox 360 commercial. I think my favorite part is the guy with the cell phone in the car.
  • Well, there's only a few "parts" to it, so I'd guess the cell phone part would be the favorite.
  • Funny. I liked the grenade.
  • Oh yeah. THAT part. Actually, I liked the part where the guy made the shotgun reloading sound with his mouth.
  • Although I enjoyed it, I also found it.. questionable.
  • I guess that sums the whole theme up.
  • I was not able to see the video, but I did click on the AdultFriendFinder link and I already have met three really hot chicks.
  • Um, chy - questionable? In what way? Or just funny? I think funny was the point. benockle is cooler than anybody.
  • Grenade=teh cool!!!1!
  • I just wanted to be one of the people in the ad - reminded me of the games I played as a kid - my death scene was great! (If I do say so myself)!
  • Yeah, the victims reacted much quicker and realistically then my sister when I used to pretend to shoot her as a child. Also about the questionableness of it all, I suppose it's bad to suggest to impressionable youths that going on a killing spree is not only fun and makes you cool (Grand Theft Auto), but is also fine with regular adults and the public at large.
  • xD Although, to us non-impressionable people it's freakin' hilarious. I get a huge kick out of that. *coughnon-impressionableyeahrightcough* xP
  • If the world was more like this commercial, I probably wouldn't be such an agoraphobe.
  • I am a touch disinclined to believe the AdultFriendFinder links - apparently Beijing is exclusively inhabited by blonde teens called things like "SanDiegoChick". I've obviously been hitting the wrong bars.
  • My favourite part was the completely black screen because I don't have whatever monopoly-leveraging version of Windows Media Player it requires.
  • My favourite part was the completely black screen Didn't you just love the soundtrack?
  • "I don't have whatever monopoly-leveraging version of Windows Media Player it requires" Download the latest K-Lite mega codec pack and come out of the darkness. Like Zorro.
  • TDM - I got it to play, albeit jerkily, with Mplayer under Linux.
  • Sadly, the OS X version of Mplayer doesn't work either. But don't despair! I found a Beast-free version! (Uses Flash instead.) I found it hilarious and completely reasonable. It's silly, and that's far more subversive than pretending to shoot people with real guns (as seen on TV and in cinemas every day). However, for those people who can't distinguish fooling around from murder, it doesn't really matter whether this ad is banned or not: sooner or later, something is going to push them over the edge of the brink on which they teeter. Let's at least have a laugh before we die: it's the people who take things too seriously who are the biggest threat.
  • Not bad, but a little long. One gets the point of the joke pretty fast; I bet a half-as-long cut would be funnier.
  • yea, a little long but preeeetty funnay
  • Not bad, but a little long. One gets the point of the joke pretty fast; I bet a half-as-long cut would be funnier. Yeah, but without the length the cell phone joke wouldn't be nearly as funny. That, and the fact that it's the full edit. Assuming this had made it to air, it would only have been that long for a week or two, before getting cut down to the short version everyone would see for months. Stupid censors. Give me my fake violence, dammit!
  • I thuroughly enjoyed that. That must have been fun to make. I'm sure they banned it just to make it cooler.

  • ah thanks toohep, I knew I'd seen that somewhere before!
