Magic: The Assault or: Why I Won't Be Attending the Tournament This Year.

Magic: The Gathering is a game known for inspiring dizzying intensities of involvement. These are the people who took it too far.

  • I wish the list posted their ages.
  • Ha! The father and son team of Joseph Meeker Sr. and Jr. with their "Fraudulent tournament reports; Obstruction of DCI investigation" just cracked me up. Plus they are from Connecticut, my home state, which makes for giggles x2! Represent!
  • I tried to get involved in MtG back around when 2nd edition hit the shelves. I should have been a natural member of the MtG Zombie Hoard (braaaiiinzzz) but even I wanted to violate the rules by violating several of my opponents, they were so annoyingly anal.
  • "Randomly determining the outcome of a game"? Why is that bad? Sounds like fun. So long as everyone agrees, should be fine.
  • "Failure to desideboard" Anyone care to enlighten me on what that is?
