You've always wanted to, and now you can. Write your name in Elvish.

Extra points for the first person to get their name tattooed onto someone else's body in Elvish.

  • Things that make you go "hmmm", Elvish Tatoos, linked from that page.
  • Elvish hash left the building.
  • Q:How do you spell dork in Elvish? A:Spelling something in Elvish. Ha! Just kidding. (not really...)
  • A friend of mine spoke fluently dwarfish. At least that's what he claimed, I have no way to know it was actually Dwarfish, but he's not likely to brag about things like that. Even though he looks more Elvish himself (tall, long hair, nice bone structure) he chose Dwarfish over Elvish because it was less popular.
  • 'popular' is such a relative word.
  • A guy I went to school with wrote all his class notes in Runes (or what looked like Runes), to discourage other people from asking to borrow his notes.
  • He just wanted to "rune" it for everybody.
  • embiggens is such a cromulent word
  • I don't think Tolkien ever fully developed Dwarvish.
  • I like things that make me feel normal for having read over twenty Star Wars books. It's like feeling you are overweight and then watching someone twice your size enter the room.
  • Things that make you go "hmmm", Elvish Tatoos, linked from that page. Yes, but the extra points were for getting your Elvish name tattooed on someone else's body. Any fool person interested in Elvish can get their name tattooed on their own body.
  • Ok I'll bite! I have a tatt it took me ten years to find the one I wanted and yes the elvish looks OK but how can anyone be sure it is not like some of the t-shirt asian characters that you think say peace but in fact say you are a foolish round eye (or words to that effect) - I mean how many people will be able to translate the elvish and call you a fool
  • Oh and bernockle just for nobody's interest - the ten years were because I wanted Smaug and he had to be exactly right! I regret I failed the Silmarillion sigh
  • fly, pics?
  • If only I was intelligent and computer savvy enough to post zanshin - then you could all find me the ultimate Smaug - I am still looking for the masterpiece! Although the artist on my back did well - as close as I could get in this imperfect world
  • OK, I'm going to need saving throws from all you people.
  • My cleric has to pee.
  • About a third of the letters (B, M, V, etc.) look like the same damn thing, sometimes rotates, sometimes not. And I pronounce the R in red the same as the R in car.
  • Obviously you're not from Boston.
  • I'll send you your name in Techish for only $8, and only I will know how to translate it. Screw the man, I'm undercutting him!
  • Elvish livesh!
