Holy Cow!
A teeth-clenchingly bad corporate promotional video. All to the tune of Donna Summer's She Works Hard For The Money. It's like a terrible office party captured on video for all time.
Via. Short download required to watch vid
So I should invest with them because they
dance around making silly videoswork hard for my money?
Must. Stop. Watching.
I tried to stop, but couldn't, even when the formation dancing began.
I feel a bit sullied now.
I only lasted 8 seconds.
Dude!
Seconds 9 onwards are the best...
That is just embarrassing. Even for corporate video.
Thank god for the pause button.
The pause button is next to the puke button.
The dignity of labour.
Couldn't stop it. Like watching a spider's nest, all those little baby spiders wiggling out the silky egg... *shudder*
If that was an internal, employee-produced vid, OK. But actual advertising... I feel ashamed to work in the field, right now. Must go show hands.
Wash, wash, WASH! Ah, damn you, Freud.
It reminded me of the We Are the World video...well, the studio parts.
Oh. Dear.
well, its done...i gave them all my money...now all i gotta do is sit back and wait for my investment to return.
btw, wtf is a grp? is that 'group m's clever name for grapes?
"My confidence in their investment abilities dramatically increased when the dancing began."
Consumer survey
Dear Client,
We work hard for your money.
Sincerely,
Mindshare
i wondered too about grp, apparently:
Gross Rating Point. Circulation expressed as a percentage of the market population. Formula: GRP = Total Circulation / Population
C'mon now peeps, your toes were tapping ... admit it.
On a 2nd viewing, how many people in the video actually appear to be working, let alone working hard? I see a couple of people photocopying (including a gratuitous bottom closeup, very professional [down quid! down!]) and that's about it.
So this is the new OK Go video? Damn, they really splurged on the production values this time.
Yeah, I found it endearingly dorky. I have a weak spot for a bunch of sincere Dutch people putting on a show.
They work hard to make a video to appear to work hard for your money. I'm convinced!
