Anonymous, George

If you have a Curious, George question of a sensitive nature and wish to remain anonymous, feel free to use the Anonymous, George option, which will allow you to both post an anonymous question and, if you wish, later comment anonymously in that thread.

To do this, simply e-mail either middleclasstool or Koko with your question. If they agree that the question is postworthy, they will post it and any comments you request as either Simian XY or Simian XX, respectively (one poster of each gender, in case you didn't catch on from the names). Please write "Anonymous, George" for the subject line, and fill in your question as you want it to be posted, word-for-word in the body text. Feel free to give an explanation as to why you want to post anonymously, if you wish, but be sure to clarify what text you want posted and what text you don't, just so there's no confusion.

Disclaimers

Please understand that whether or not your question is posted is at the discretion of the member you contacted. The person you go to may not feel the question is postworthy, or may question your motives for posting anonymously. If they do, please don't take it personally. They are concerned with helping you out, but they're equally concerned with the quality of post content on this site, and they'll want to be sure nothing's hinky before they fulfill your request. But don't fear: both Koko and middleclasstool are wise, learned, and sexy monkeys, and you'll find them to be generally agreeable and flexible, if a bit drunk and monosyllabic. In other words, if the question's reasonable, has an answer, and couldn't be solved by a simple Google search, they'll post it.

If the member you choose refuses to post your question, please feel free to contact either the other poster or tracicle, the site admin, to appeal and renew your post request. They'll be happy to look into the matter for you.

Finally, please be patient if there's a bit of a delay. We'll take care of you as quickly as possible, but there may be the occasional lag as life outside MonkeyFilter (audible gasp!) may occasionally rear its ugly head and delay the poster from responding. Also, Simian XX and Simian XY will be limited to the one-post-per-day rule of thumb, so multiple requests may have to be spread out over a few days.
